DOROTHY McDANIEL’S FLOWER MARKET

Vintage Boudoir Shower

For years, Morgan dreamed of having a chocolate themed Bat Mitzvah, and Dorothy McDaniel’s Flower Market made that happen!

The services were held at Temple Emanu - El in Birmingham, Alabama. Rabbi Miller, Rabbi Haas, and Cantor Roskin were very proud of Morgan’s presentation.

Morgan’s extended family traveled from Texas, California, Vermont, and New York to attend this special event. She is the first child of Tracy and Dr. Al Cohn and the first grandchild of both families.

B & A Warehouse was the venue for the evening’s festivities, and as guests entered, there were large cubes on the bar filled with hundreds of multicolored chocolate balls and lighted lime green branches

emerging from the center.

As guests entered the main room, they were greeted by a large Hershey bar with Morgan’s name on it over the door.

The tables were covered with soft silver cloths and topped with bright colored polka dot cloths in hot pink, purple, lime green, and aqua.

There were flowers in all these colors including gerberas, roses, orchids, stock, and tulips. Large glass cylinders filled to the brim with chocolate kisses were topped with arrangements of flowers on

every table.

Large arrangements in chrome urns were presented on the table displaying the sumptuous food provided by B & A.

All the columns were lighted and streamers of ribbon in the 4 key colors hung from the top of them.

Hanging from the chandeliers were huge faux candy kisses in the theme colors. Here you see staff hanging the kisses to add the final touch to this delightful event.

We had such fun planning and executing this event for the Cohns. It was an adventure that ended in beautiful events enjoyed by hundreds of friends and family.
